Do I get a refund when I cancel my ticket?

Rules and costs associated with returning the ticket are determined by the bus company in its Terms and Conditions. Depending on how long before the departure you return your ticket, company may deduct a set amount from the purchased ticket. The fee is determined by the bus company and may be different for single, return or open tickets. Please read carrier's Terms and Conditions for more details or contact his office.

Returning ticket fees

Rules and fee amount for returning ticket are determined by the carrier. Usually the fee for cancelling your ticket is dependent on time left to departure. Details on fees for returned tickets are included in conditions of the carriage. These conditions must be accepted during the purchase by each buyer.

National Express

Cancellations can be performed up to 72 hours before the departure. Cancelled ticket is subject to cancellation fee of £5 per person.

Eurolines France

Cancellation fees depend on time prior the departure:

  • more than 48 hours before the departure, 25% of the ticket price (minimum amount is 10 €),
  • from 48 to 6 hours before the departure, 50% of the ticket price (minimum amount is 20 €),
  • less than 6 hours before the departure or when passenger didn't show at the bus stop, 100 % cancellation fee.

Czech Eurolines

Cancellation fees depend on time left to the departure:

  • more than 48 hours prior to departure, cancellation fee is 25% of the ticket price,
  • between 6 and 48 hours prior to departure, cancellation fee is 50% of the ticket price,
  • less than 6 hours prior to departure, cancellation fee is 100% of the ticket price.

Sindbad

Company is entitled to a deduction for the returned ticket, depending on time left to departure.:

  • more than 14 days before the departure, 10% of the ticket price,
  • from 14 days to 48 hours before the departure, 25% of the ticket price,
  • from 48 to 24 hours before the departure, 50% of the ticket price,
  • less than 24 hours before the departure, 90 % of the ticket price.

Ticket cancellation may only be performed in the same way as they were bought, for example if you bought your ticket in travel agency, you should return it there.
